Getting to know me TAG

Hello. :) I think I made a post like this a while ago but it got deleted when I cleaned out my blog, so here's a new one. Just getting to know Jes I guess.

1. Full name?

Jessie Isabel. (I hope you understand why I'm not providing my last name. Some of you could be creepers...no offense.) I've never liked my name though. When I was in 3rd grade I met an artist named Jes and I really liked it so I kinda changed my name and it kinda just stuck.

2. A confession?

I've only told one other person this before, which is my best friend. Im 99% sure my friends dont read my blog anymore so i think its safe to post this haha.

I'm so insecure about my weight, and I've been struggling with starving myself. I get bullied a lot and so I figure if I lose weight they'll stop...but so far nothing. I know that starving is bad for me and so I'm trying not to go crazy with it...just a few days on and off.  And I have anxiety.

3.) Turn ons and turn offs?

Turn ons:

Ive always been attracted to dark eyes, dark hair, that middle eastern look. Im not sure why. I like some tattoos but not excessive. Kind, gentle eyes. Honestly there is no particular body shape that I'm attracted to, as long as they're healthy and take care of themself. Genuninly opptimistic, happy go lucky kind of guys, I love it when guys have a little stubble too.

Turn offs:

bad teeth, "swag", swearing, and beards/mustaches creep me out.

5.) Favorite movies:

6.) Insecurities?

Pretty much everything. My chubby face for one. My height. My voice sounds like a 12 year old. My curly frizzy hair.

* Mac and cheese
* Zayn Malik
* Disney  movies

9.) Goals?

To graduate high school with a good GPA. I want to be a make up guru. I also want to be an esthetician.

10.) Favorite foods?

Mac and Cheese, otter pops, and kiwis. I don't know dude mine are weird lol, I eat like a little kid, I'm so picky.

11.) Relationship status?

Single Pringle.

NARS sheer glow foundation review + update

Okay now for the review:
NARS sheer glow foundation: 2.5 out of 5

First off..."Sheer glow"? What sheer glow? I couldn't find anything sheer nor glowing about this stuff. Its very thick, almost cakey. Its very matte too, not glowy. its not a horrible foundation however, it actually has very nice coverage. They have a nice variety of shades too, so I was able to find mine fairly easy. Overall, I gave it 2.5 out of 5 stars because it was an okay foundation, just not what it advertises it to be. When I spend $44 on a foundation that's supposed to be "sheer glow", I expect it to be sheer and glowing, not thick and matte.

Want white teeth? :)

Little secret I learned to help whiten your teeth. :) I'm actually going to stop for a while so they don't end up looking too white haha. Here's what you do:

1.) Once a day, Take one tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide and one tablespoon of baking soda. Mix together and apply on teeth with Q tip. Leave in for 10 minutes

2.) Tadaaa

Christmas list!!

I don't get mad at people. Like, ever. But my worst pet peeve is when people shoot down Christmas related things because it's before Thanksgiving.  Well, now it's after Thanksgiving, so you people have no excuse. Ha. Just finished my christmas list and Im so excited.

Strapless Skater dress (Forever21, $24.80, changed to red)

Cute right? I love skater dresses. They can be fancy or casual, lightweight, you can wear any type of show with them, and they are figure flattering. I love this red color too. It will be adorable with a leather woven belt, I can't wait to try it on! All I need now is some cute tights and a cardi and it will be PERFECT.


Floral Lace Tights ( Delias, $12.50)

Lace tights should be in every girl's closet. They look great with pencil skirts and boots, You can't go wrong with them, plus they're normally cheaper then normal tights. (Cuter too.)


Shine Skater Dress (Delias, 38.50)

Again, I adore skater dresses. I love this one because
1.) It's 3/4 sleeved, and so I wouldn't need to use a cardigan or sweater. Yay!
2.) According to the description, it sparkles a little bit. Sparkles make everything better.
3.) The color is perfect for anything and everything. <3

Madden Girl Harmonee Skimmer flats (Delias, 49.50)

I want the cognac color ones. Simple flats because I need new ones. Hehe. Cute with jeans and dresses. (:
